Let me remind you, this is not going to be another 3-D rapeover Sonic people!

This is a direct sequel to the 2-D versions. C'mon now, don't tell me all of you were just Mario fans in the SNES/Genesis era.  :-&

Rechola help me out!

not to downplay this or any throwback titles supermario wii, theystart out fun, but they get old fasttttttt just like sonic.  (Keep in mind this is just my opinion)  To each their own though, some games like the original first sonic are fun and then the devs get a wild hair up their ass, change them and should not stray from what works, but they do.  I learned that from Socom Confrontation.  Socom 1 and 2 hella fun, after that they really lost their momentum.

ps  nevermind the fact i'll be playing ffxiii in a month    :D     but then again they don't stray from what works.

I understand, I'm just glad that they finally understand why all those 3D versions didn't work and are now just sticking with what made the originals great. I guess I came off a little biased because Sonic the Hedgehog was the first console game I've ever played. So its something from my childhood I kind of treasure. Just like how Vic gets hard ons with Megaman.  :D

hey hey now what Megs and I have is special...
when my PS3 broke the first time I pulled out the ol' NES to cap some screens I might need for new sigs, ended up playing all the way to Woodman before I snapped out of it and remembered I had stuff to do.

Seriously, it sucks Nintendo chose to go the way they did, I have no interest in waving that thing around and the fact that I'll never play another Mario or especially Zelda saddens me.

If the return of 2D Sonic does it for ya, then I hope they do it right and you enjoy it. :)
